The builder isn't showing on my product page

Open Online Store → Themes → Customize, go to a product template, and add the PC Builder app block. Save the theme. Then confirm the configurator is Published in the app admin and your subscription is active under Billing.

How do I control which parts can go together?

Open Compatibility rules in the app admin and add a rule — for example, the motherboard's socket must match the CPU's socket. The builder then only offers parts that fit the shopper's earlier picks.

How do I set prices and markups?

Each configurator has Price rules. Price a component from its catalogue price or cost, with a per-group markup. Choose Sum to charge for every part, or Delta to charge only the upgrade difference from a default spec.

Why does a build show as a single line in the cart?

On the Growth and Pro plans the build is added as one bundle line at your price, with the components kept together — changing the quantity or removing it treats the whole build as one item. The Starter plan uses a draft-order checkout link instead.

Does the app create a new product for each build?

No. The cart line is the base product variant with a custom title; the components are attached to that one line. Nothing is written to your catalogue and no new products are created.

Can I match it to my theme?

Yes. Set colours, fonts, corner radius, density and your logo in Settings → Branding, and choose inline, popup, drawer or full-screen display per configurator. The admin and storefront builder are available in Danish and English.

How does billing work?

A fixed monthly plan fee plus a small revenue share on orders that include a configured build, all charged through Shopify Billing. You approve the plan and its cap when you install — there's a 14-day free trial.

How do I cancel?

Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin (Apps → Lærke - PC Builder → Delete). Your subscription cancels at the end of the current Shopify billing period and your configuration is removed when Shopify sends the shop-redact webhook.
